Thank you for clearing the leaves from Park Ridge Park from the those beautiful but pesky large oak trees. Also, thank you for putting down grassseed and straw to aid in the park grounds maintence, helping to ensure that the park stays great for the next 20 years. People who are seemingly from different households continue to use park shelter at Park Ridge Park. Thank you for putting out a sign at the Park Ridge Park basketball court requesting that individuals and families pratice CDC guidelines with respect to maintining a physical distance of at least 6 feet from all non-household members. I feel like a similar sign would be appopriate at the shelter area of Park Ridge Park to remind park goers of their duties to the community to aid in stopping the spread of the novel coronavirus.

A colleague recently shared a list of “essential businesses” that are still open: Andrew Davis Clothiers. Bloomingfoods East. Bloomingfoods Near West Side. Bloomington Hardware. Black's Mercantile. Caveat Emptor. Feast Market & Cellar. Goods for Cooks. Mirth. The Book Corner. The Briar & The Burley. Tivoli Fashions. Vance Music Center. I am wondering how some of these businesses are still open in this serious healthcare crisis, per the Indiana state list of essential businesses: https://coronavirus.in.gov/2496.htm. I’m very supportive of local business, but lax interpretation of these rules puts our whole community at risk.
I believe there is a water leak somewhere near me. My water usage has apparently tripled since last month, while i have been conserving water due to not having enough income to pay the usual bill.
Could you move bicyclists and runners off the trails at this time of social distancing? It's especially noticeable on the the popular B-Line Trail. Walkers are doing a good job staying apart, bicyclists and runners not so much. There's limited space and time to distance from runners and bicyclists going by - two groups who by the nature of their activity are more likely to be exhaling droplets. Those on bikes could easily use streets which are fairly free of traffic right now, and sidewalks likewise for runners.
There has been a car parking on my street without a parking permit. This issue has been happening for months without the car being ticketed.
