I need to report a pot hole issue in from of my house at 1921 W. Allen Street. There are a couple sever pot holes locate directly in front of my house in the west bound lane. They are so bad that west bound traffic swerves to avoid them into oncoming traffic. Also, there is another pot hole at the bottom of the hill in the eastbound lane as well. There is a blind curve coming from the apartments into Gentry Honours. There are children playing frequently and people typically speed through this section, making it dangerous for pedestrians crossing. Would like to see speed bumps implemented coming into the neighborhood to force reduced speeds for pedestrian safety.
Several coyotes that have started to make a home in the wooded area and field behind where I live. They have been starting to coming into the neighborhood Arbor Ridge at all different times. My neighbor had an encounter with one while walking her dog. It wasn’t scared of her and became very territorial. Usually coyotes in this area move on but never have seen them so consistently in the area I live especially leaving the field and coming into our neighborhood. There a lot of elderly folks with dogs and this could become dangerous if no one intervenes.
Coyotes seen several times in our neighborhood recently. The picture included is in the field behind our neighborhood but we have also seen them in my back yard. They approached me and my dog about a week and a half ago. We are usually seeing them at dusk and dawn.
Invasive bamboo continues to be a problem in the alley and property behind 415 E 1st Street. Bamboo grows into our yard from the alleyway and neighbor's property.
Unit four tenant continues to feed deer and rodents by deliberately putting corn and bird seed on the floor of their porch.
I found a dead cat in front of my house at 319 A Fairview this morning's ng. It looks like it was attacked by some other animal. There is Tufts of fur in the grass all around the body.
House was sold a couple of months ago. Huge, empty, uncared. Neighbors on street have no idea who purchased but assume it is a developer. Yard is now very overgrown; house has flapping broken siding high up that during storms we all think may fly off!
