I received the following email: Last year, you helped me and my neighbors deal with some of the water runoff plaguing our yards by installing a new storm sewer manhole. At the time, you mentioned the possibility of adding another slotted drain higher up on the alley to deal with the water that comes down the alley and into my yard. Do you think this is a possibility in the near future? In April, my backyard again was badly flooded with water coming in two streams: down the alley and from Woodlawn. BoI have discussed with Thrasher Landscaping possible remedies. They would involve adding pipes that would attach to the city pipes in my front yard. I am contacting you to see if this is possible. We need to be careful to aid damaging the existing city pipes that run through my side yard. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks again for the help you provided last summer.

Utilities removed trees along Graham drive. Drastically increased drainage in our yards in Winslow Farms. A ditch was to be dug in 2017....We were notified 'ran out of time to complete' last year. Needed ASAP. Worked with engineer Phil P.

#166419 Drainage or Runoff: Other: Hello, I am a property owner in the shadow creek subdivision and wish to file an anonymous complaint against the owner of the property at 1527 s andrew circle. I could not figure out how to manipulate your location map above so please ignore that address. I am building a house on the adjoining lot and am concerned about the serious flooding every time it rains. It has gotten worse since additional dirt has been added to the lot , and since i last reported the problem to the city last summer. Please see the picture attached and make a drive by for yourself to verify. It may overflow its banks tonight with the heavy rain that is predicted. It could flood my basement and the downhill neighbor potentially. But more important to the neighborhood and the city are the potentials for mosquitoes and even children or animals getting hurt in there. It should be an easy fix for the builder to rework the dirt he put in there to fill in the low spots and raise the grade for natural gravity drainage until he actually builds a house there. Thank you for your prompt attention to the issue . It seems to have been ignored after my previous complaint which was before the previous owner(developer ?) sold it. Something is being washed down the creek that runs through Southeast Park. This picture shows it at the culvert under Moores Pike. It's like this all the way to Sare Road.

Drainage issue behind my house (2201 E. Autumn Drive). Rain water goes to the Jackson Creek but since last year the pipe has been damaged and now huge area has been damaged by the rain water. Big huge trees are falling (another one about to fall) because the rain is sweeping all the soil and roots have been exposed. Please have someone visit the site ASAP.

Ms Hammond left a voice message on 4/18/16 saying she has problems with storm sewer runoff in her backyard that has gotten much worse this year. She didn't know if the city could help because the storm sewer comes off The Stands Dr with a culvert that ends right in her back yard.
