Citizen objects that Utilities will only repave area torn up for water main installation. Says the work has damaged the whole street and it needs repaving. Says the front of her property has been damaged by storage & removal of gravel, etc. Wants her lawn repaired. Has spoken with Doug Jones who said Mike Farmer would call her. Home owner experiences flooding in back yard and attributes problem to storm water drainage in his Allen Valley Subdivision. He spoke with the developer, Raymond Moore, about remedies and checked with another excavator who advised him that proposed work was only a temporary solution. Moore came in today without permission and dug up backyard. He asked Moore to leave and Moore did without restoring property. Private inspector said storm water facilities were not up to code.
Weeds need cut in the vacated alley West of 916 S. Morton St. The weeds are growing out of a wall at 319 W. Dodds St.---1st alley West of Morton St. Several years ago, B & L Roofing put several large/huge rocks in the alley which makes mowing the weeds/grass impossible. Ms. Burch also said that the drainage problem South of Dodds St. has not been taken care of. Please call Ms. Burch if above locations are unclear.
Citizen says trash has been laying by the alley (between Lincoln and Grant) at this location since last year. Recently, yard waste has been added to the pile. Current tenants say it is not their trash, therefore not their problem. Citizen says landlord has not been cooperative.
