This is my second official noise complaint against Juannita's Mexican Restaurant, located at 620 W. Kirkwood Ave. Bloomington, IN 47404. The restaurant staff uses outdoor speakers to play music that can be heard outside property lines--I live across the street and can hear this music in my living room and bedroom, at times clearly enough for it to disrupt my sleep. I have complained directly to Juannita's management by phone, email, and in person on several occasions, to no lasting avail. Last May, I submitted a uReport regarding this issue and received a prompt and professional response from Jason Carnes, the Assistant Director of Small Business Relations. Mr. Carnes reached out to the Juannita's manager with a warning about the City’s noise ordinance, which seemed to be effective for a time. However, the music has recently become a problem again. I am a graduate student at IU, and dreading the prospect of facing another school year of being unable to concentrate or relax in my living space. Please let me know what further steps I can take to hold my neighbors accountable for this noise violation. Thank you, Kaitlin Mackenzie

Why can't a store like Vintage Wearhouse on 4th St buy used items from local individuals and a store like Once Upon a Child can? Seems like whatever regulation governs that is incongruous.

The stated goal is to develop the downtown as a walkable shopping destination, and there is significant new building esp. on N walnut and college, but the transportation infrastructure sucks for peds and damages the commercial property values. not a single ped xing on walnut/college between 11th and 17th!!

Stage Flight Circus Arts is allowing a junior coach to live in a studio upstairs in a business district. The arrangement makes many students very uncomfortable in an environment they feel should be a safe space.

Please help me Verify Alpha Books Solutions in the Philippines To whom this may concern, I am JoAnn Johnson currently residing in Florida. I am emailing to see if you could help me verify the business address of whom I am currently dealing with regards to promoting my book. I will have to spend decent amount of money on this endeavor with them and I don't have any problem paying for travel just to visit their physical office. Unfortunately, they discouraged me to visit their office for some reason. They want me to pay through check but to be sent out to a different address not listed as their mailing address on their website. These sort of inconsistencies triggered to me to do extra precaution.
