On nice days would it be possible for the Park staff (and the Bloomington police) to be more active in enforcing face coverings and the limit on gatherings. This was a day when Indiana hit another record (11/7). THe pickle ball court was taken over by this group of more than 25 people who were having a tournament. Most were not wearing masks as they sat around. Down the road the playground was packed. I know this is especially hard for staff or police since it's the parents making poor decisions, not wearing masks, and most if not all children not wearing masks.
Vehicles are parking in the bike lane in front of the Stageyard apartments.
The retaining drainage Channel wall below the driveway is falling apart. This is a serious safety hazard. Additionally, tons of weeds are growing inside the channel that need removal and cleanup. This over growth is another reason why the cracks are appearing and the channel walls are falling apart. Please take action promptly. Thanks.
Stop sign for southbound High St at intersection with Maxwell is obstructed. Yesterday a vehicle ran through it and nearly hit us. I've seen several last minute stops as well.
Task cans left in front of house.
Looks like there is water leaking into street from recent city work. Location of leak is in the cul de sac on S Daniel Ct in the Kensington neighborhood.
The tree inside the large dog park has a large diameter dip around the base of it. This dip is constantly filled with very rank smelling water and I along with all other dog owners have discussed how unhappy we are that we must bathe our dogs anytime we take them to get exercise. My dog needs consistent exercise and the best way to do this is at the dog park, but constant bathing can cause skin to dry out. At one point, the city had placed a temporary barrier around it so I believed there was hope for a solution, but since then the barrier has been taken down.
On several occasions I've pulled up to the left turn lane stop line going south on Henderson at Winslow and have not gotten a green light. I arrived at the intersection just as Henderson northbound is getting a green light and green turn arrow, and there are no cars yet at the red lights on Winslow. Once the northbound left turn traffic is done, the southbound light never goes green. So I sit and wait for an entire cycle before getting a green arrow three minutes later.
