Parking Meters and Citations

I am writing to inform you that I just had to pay $60 for a parking citation that was not warranted. I have screenshots when I purchased my spot and I still had an hour left when I made it to my car. I am a travel nurse working at IU and I assumed that if I payed the meter for my parking spot I would not wake up to find that I get a ticket. I am NOT happy with this at all. Instead of paying $10 for a 10 hour slot I ended up paying $70. I attempted to appeal but was not able to complete the process. If there is any way that you can fix this I would be very grateful.

#206651 was closed by Rob Council with this note: "Addressed issue with property owner. Will follow up."
What does this mean--that Rob will follow up or that the Homeowner will follow up? It has been 30 days since I mailed the owner a certified letter and 19 days since I filed a nuisance complaint. The "resolution" of the report tells me nothing. Did the owner say that he would remove the dead parts of the tree? Does the city agree that it is dangerous? I am no less worried today than I was 4 weeks ago, but the case is closed.

While I'm on the subject of the bus! I am fully in support of BT's decision to remove bus advertising wraps. But please, could you just leave the wraps off of the windows altogether? They make it very difficult to see where one is going and when is the right time to pull the cord. Thank you!
