These road work signs have been here for many weeks and they create a very dangerous situation for people turning from Rock Creek north onto High Street, especially during the hours when Childs school pickup and drop off is happening. You cannot see the oncoming traffic!
I am away on business and person watching my house reported that my front yard was dug up by the nuisance folks doing some kind of work in Ron Heifhts. Will the city be reseeding and fixing this area of grass between sidewalk and curb? No one contacted me whatsoever about this work or that they would be digging up my yard. Sidewalks along S Westplex Ave in front of the Wheeler Mission are continuously occupied by, on average, 10 to 20 unhoused people living in their parked cars and sleeping on the sidewalk, causing obstructions to the road and sidewalk for residents of the Westplex apartment complex and retirement community.
The homeowners have let their dog out to roam freely on a regular basis. The dog sits and barks outside of their door to be let in from about 9:30-11pm. This has happened for the last week at least. The dog wears a glowing vest but still roams into our yard and has come up to our door several times. When we have gone outside to shoo it away, it barks at us.
Ornamental grass from residence obstructing stop sign at 1st and Mitchell. Cross traffic from 1st does not have a stop sign making the intersection very dangerous if obstructed sign is not observed.

In response to case #198944 - this property does not actually have a driveway, though there is a gravel area next to the house that can accommodate two small vehicles. (Side note: the out-building next to the house actually extends over the property line.) The gravel area east of the house is formally an alley that is indeed sometimes blocked by construction/maintenance/utility workers, but more often is regularly blocked by the tenants of this house themselves and their friends who park there and/or their trash containers, preventing others from using the alley.
The issue associated with Case #193767 has not been corrected. Large, smelly dumpster on the east side of Lincoln between 14th and 15th Streets remains on the sidewalk and almost into the street. This really is not completely the fault of the property owner. Can Rumpke be fined for placing it in a public thoroughfare?
Cases #193296 (6 September) and #193766 (11 October) pertain to the same property/issus. Both are closed and marked "resolved", though issue remains. Invasives have grown over the retaining wall and are blocking the sidewalk. The steps lead to what appears to be a vacant lot, though there is a building at the far north end of this property. As per Elevate, owner is: The Teague Trust 2106 Casa Mia Dr San Jose, Ca 95124 If Bloomington would pass an ordinance restricting property ownership to local residents, and even better to require that property owners actually live in the buildings they own, most of the problems like this would go away.
