Trash
927 W Graham DR
- Case Date:
- 5/29/2025
There is trash at this address that has been there well over a month. The city will not pick it up, because it overflows the trash containers and is outside the containers. I live by this priory and am sick of it. We have rats around here.
The same trash is has been in front of the shack at 927 for at least 6 weeks. I spoke with Mr. Arnold about this and he couldn’t find it. It is obvious when you look at the shack. It is in overfilled city trash receptacles.
SEWER DRAINS VERY SLOWLY. HER NEIGHBOR'S ARE HAVING SAME PROBLEM.
Home owner wants the open ditch in front of house paved.
In the first three months of 2022, we had a number of workers (it seems from various companies) over about 2 months showing up to put up a new power pole in our backyard. We did not request this. One group, when asked said that someone would be back to take down the old pole which was marked with 2 large Xs in white paint (an eyesore). No one every came. At one point, one crew took down part of our back fence and ran equipment over the property line killing our ground cover and grass and killing a rhodendrum bush. I called Duke Energy weeks ago to inquire, but they never got back to me.
I took my 3 year old son to Bryan Park yesterday and a man had a dog with him that was poorly restrained (on a 25 foot cable). My son was running towards the toddler playground when the dog ran after him and knocked him down. The dog was on top of my child for several seconds and while the dog didn't harm my son, it was a very frightening experience for him. I don't want him to be afraid of dogs, and I've been trying to teach him to appreciate animal companionship. I don't know what the rules are for leashes in Bryan Park, but dogs need to be handled better, especially near or around the kids' playgrounds. I didn't get the man's name or information but I took a picture. He was walking on a bright orange tightrope and he had a white dog (young, probably a puppy - this is the one that chased my son) and a black dog.
Resident is filing complaint regarding the parking in the neighborhood near Bryan Park. Cars continually park on grass near his street and other streets (cited Dixie St). Contact information provided.
Resident called to complain about excess parking from Bryan Park leaking into the neighborhood. In particular, folks parking on grass because there are not curbs in the area. This has lead to erosion problems.
