There's a large pothole where 10th St and the back parking lot of Stone Belt meet.
We attended the football game on Saturday and walked through this complex at 1425 N Dunn. The trash is atrocious and you can't even walk on the sidewalks because of the overgrown landscaping. I have attached a few photos of the grounds, and this is just a portion of the trash. This is an embarrassment to Bloomington and also to guests from out of town that see this mess. If you could please advise!
Dumpster was emptied on Monday. By Tuesday morning, it was again over-flowing with bags of crap everywhere (picture attached). Can fines be issued daily to the property management until they solve this perpetual problem?
Sidewalk closed sign laying in the tree plot. There's no construction going on around here, so I am not sure how or why it's here. Just thought I would let you know in case you are missing one.
Resident is feeding deer. Last night a large amount of apples and almonds were left on stone bench in front of house. Three large bucks live nearby in the neighborhood and travel together. They enjoy this feeding station.
Suggestion for BACC. The Bloomington Shelter has been adopting pets out to homeless individuals. In many occasions dogs have been found tied up outside stores while the owner is inside. Would like to suggest that the shelter provide these individuals wirh collars that have contact info embroidered and maybe something that says they will be right back. It’s very distressing to come across an animal tied up with no understanding of why. I think it would be worth the investment to help avoid unnecessary shelter inductions. Maybe a patch type collar is available with messages. If something was on the collar where one wouldn’t have to touch the dog to identify would be best gbut even a tag with info would help. Thanks for your consideration.
You have to walk on the median because tree has grown over the sidewalk. Needs trimmed badly
Bush overgrown into sidewalk, you hit it when walking or have to move off sidewalk.
This is in reference to a prior case submission (#913401) - the prior service request was closed and listed as the property owner's responsibility but the case history for the location shows that in 2014 the same issue was submitted by my former neighbor and the city did resolve the issue with the storm drain being blocked. 9/10/2024 10:05:29 Closed by Emily Tate According to CBU records, the ditch at this location is private property, so maintenance is the responsibility of the property owner, or in some cases a neighborhood group/HOA.
