Malcolm Abrams and I own the bungalow housing the Bloom Magazine office at 414 W 6th Street. The alley to our west (when facing the building) sees a surprising amount of traffic, both vehicular and pedestrian due in part to the location of the County probation department's testing office just north of us along the alley. The alley surface is in poor condition with ruts and uneven patches. The utilities department is in the process of repairing and resurfacing a portion of our lot and alley due to water line damage from AEG fiber installation. I've been told that the city will pave some well-used alleys when in disrepair. I'm wondering whether this alley would qualify particularly given that the paving equipment will be onsite already. Trash piling up alongside alley west of the building.

The cans of trash are completely full and now they are overflowing onto the ground. There is a strong stench coming from the cans and the area in general.

There is a small area on the side of the road that has crumbling asphalt, which contributes to the storm water drainage issues as rocks get dropped into the drain after significant rain. Crews have patched areas along the street over the years, might be worth a review.

Playground is incredibly overgrown. Some areas have a black, fungus like growth in the grass as well. I sent an email to Parks this morning before someone told me about this form.

The drainage ditch leading into a sewer grate behind our house is outgrown and filled with debris that is blocking the sewer grate. It is typically cleaned out by the city at least once a year but no one has come for more than 12 months.

When my recycling was picked up this Wednesday the lid to my container was broken. See break in picture above. Requesting a new can with functional lid or new lid. Thank you.

There are multiple dogs at this home who are outside most of the time. They bark incessantly and the yard smells of dog waste.
