We have a vendor scheduled to replace a retaining wall at the corner of 2nd and Grant that is failing and bowing out. We sent the engineering department some concerns that we want to share here as well. 1. The stop sign is currently located approximately one foot from the retaining wall. There is concern that the sign may become unstable or fall once the wall is removed. 2. Once the project is completed, the bank will be lowered, which may require adjustments to the placement or height of the stop sign. Please let me know how you would like to proceed or if additional coordination is needed to address these concerns.
