Robin's daughter visits her father in the third unit at 1310 N. Maple. He rents this unit from his parents. Robin reports that much electrical work and plumbing work was done at the house without the proper permits and that the work was not done properly. A wood stove was also installed without the proper "venting". (I checked this address on the rental system and it shows that there are only 2 approved rental units. This 3rd unit has not been inspected and needs to be registered and inspec

There is a house on the corner of 16th and Woodburn that is falling down. It is all boarded up and there are homeless people living in it. People are always breaking in it.
Jennifer thinks building on the corner of 10th and Monroe is unsafe. Please call her asap re: this
this property has been vacant for 25 years. the house is falling away from the chimney. there are holes in the foundation. Ms. Geene is concerned about her neighbor's house. Some exterior wall coverings are completely missing. Exterior wall structure is questionable. Roof is open and exposed--birds are pulling insulation out. Looks bad--needs to be fixed. Please stop by or call Ms. Geene with updates.
Rails to Trails: there is barbed wire in a patch of trees. She was walking around dusk and walked into it. Had to get 6 stitches. Is in the Sommersby neighborhood. (It sounds like there is a small path that leads from Sommersby to the main trail. This is where she encountered the barbed wire. This may not actually be a "real" path.)
This house has been vacant for years. The door is standing open, and the floor is rotten. A child could wander in, and fall through the floor. Southwest corner of 16th & Woodburn Avenue. There are rats on the property.
Mr. Eckert called to report that the property at 1022 N. Woodburn has been vacant for years. He reported that the yard is full of trash, tires, broken glass, rats, etc. His concern is health related since he lives next door.
