When traveling west on 3rd St, the "No Turn On Red" sign at Smith Rd is mounted in a location were it cannot be seen when stopped at the intersection in the front position.
Drivers going east on third make a U turn to get going back west on Third Street. They seem unaware of drivers on Peter Ellis also turning west onto Third. One driver went across both lanes making the U turn. Needs a NO U TURN SIGN.
Is it possible to empty the trash can at the bus stop at the Smoke Time store more often? Trash is often overflowing which gives vermin a chance to dig in it.
We have people living in tents on CITY property on the southwest corner of Rogers and 11th St. We have over 10 female employees working for us at 611 W 11th Street. We would hate for any of them to have ANY issues with people living on CITY property. Please help these people to relocate to a place where they may receive the services Bloomington may provide. Whatever is in the trash in the bus stop smells like a decomposing animal and is attracting a LOT of flys.
In 2024, the City of Bloomington planted native species along the west side of the B-Line trail adjacent to the 300 & 400 block of Mortons St. After a year of growth the portion next to the B-Line trail looks fine; however the “back side” of this planted area that is on the east side of Morton St is heavily overgrown, encroaching 3 to 4 feet into Morton St, obstructing traffic, pedestrians and bikers on Morton St. this is becoming a safety issue due to the narrowing of the street die to overgrown, and un-kempt planting of native plants along the B-Line trail. Requesting that the City of Bloomington groom the back side of this native planting, along Mortton St as to not obstruct the normal use of Morton shared by pedestrians, bikes and traffic.
