The deer population in our neighborhood is totally out of control. Neighbor & her husband counted 22 deer in one area near here last night & I counted 10 in one yard yesterday. One buck has a ten point rack or larger. Often 4 buck in one herd….multiply that with major population of doe and you & I can only guess estimate the population! With Winslow Woods near by they have a wooded habitat yet hardwoods & most decent timber is being destroyed. This woods could be sequestered for a controlled bow hunt. Families could receive venison with proper processing. Im certain you’ve heard much of this before, yet please drive near Hickory Stick & surrounding area betweeng 6-8pm to inspect our concerns.

i just sent a message about how hard this area is to keep up by myself. you sent message back about mowing, not sure if you also mean the litter problem all the time there. i pick it up at least 2 times aweek. but need help when ever possible. thx. its a real problem from henderson down to walnut. gys stand there and ask for money and throw there trash there. aslo henderson from winslow up past bloomington south high school is a problem. ill do what i can to help. thx

i keep this and many areas cleaned up around town, this area is about the worst. from this corner all the way down winslow east to henderson is hard for me to keep up alone. im down there 2 to 3 times a week picking up trash. i need some help to keep an eye in this area. its to much for me to handle alone. thx david.

My neighbor might be running a dog business out of her (i think its a girl but idk) house and its making the neighborhood dangerous. Dogs are barking all of the time. Sometimes dogs sound like they’re fighting and she yells at them. She has wolf dogs that escape her backyard all of the time. I’m scared to let my kids play in our backyard because it isn’t fenced and she doesn’t have control over the dogs. People are always dropping off and picking up dogs from her house so idk if the dogs are even hers. Please help. We live near RCA park and I cant even let my kids walk to the park because im scared theyll get bitten. Supposed to be a quiet family neighborhood but now I want to move so my kids can be safe. I am a storm drain volunteer for the Utility Department for Sussex Drive and Queensway from High St to Montclair and have been tracking broken asphalt pavement that might enter or block the storm drains and storm sewers by collecting broken pavement. I have collected a second load of broken pavement that is on the east/mail box side of my driveway at 2305 Sussex Dr. The pile weighs about 134 ponds could a City Street crew pick up the pile for recycling and reuse?
