We watched as a swarm of bees relocated themselves to a large Maple tree at the corner of 11th and Washington. We are not concerned having the bees around, and love the tree, but have some concern for the health of the tree. The bees entered the tree through several openings, so it is obviously hollow to some extent. I am asking if you have someone to assess the tree since it is on city property. Thank you.

The tree in question is located on city land outside of my property boundary at 1301 W. 8th Street in Bloomington. The broken limb is specifically situated at the intersection of Adams Street and 8th Street, where there is a significant amount of pedestrian traffic. The footpath visible in the attached picture is frequently used by pedestrians crossing from the sidewalk on Adams Street onto 8th Street. The presence of the broken tree limb in this area creates a potential safety hazard for pedestrians. Additionally, there is a slight concern that the broken limb obstructs the view of the Adams Street bridge for drivers turning right onto Adams Street from Fountain. This obstruction may affect the visibility of oncoming traffic, potentially leading to traffic incidents or delays. I kindly request that the relevant department of Bloomington takes immediate action to address this issue. It is crucial to ensure the safety of pedestrians and motorists in the area by removing the broken tree limb and conducting any necessary tree maintenance or inspection. Yard is full of vehicles and debris

The trees and invasives (honeysuckle, etc. from this yard is growing over the their fence into my yard at 611 Clover Terrace. This stuff needs to be removed. I don't want these invasive species over in my yard.
