When is the city going to match the County for work hours/hours worked? Closing at 4pm makes public meetings available to start earlier in the evening, reduces traffic stress on roads as a major employer (remote work accomplishes this too), and creates less confusion on need of City versus County services and what hours they can be reached.
For the Mayor's office: Can you please consider posting information somewhere besides Facebook? I should not need an account for that platform just to get information. Post it on the City website, or if you want social media, use something more open source like Bluesky. I appreciate the sharing of information, but wish it was in a different platform. Thank you.

My question is, how can a situation be closed, when nothing was done to fix the problem. The lights have not been relocated. The new lights will be relocated along the trail between Hawthorne and Weatherstone. I am a wheelchair user. Every time it snows deep like it has now the snow plows from the city pile of the snow in front of the curb cuts. I was just downtown trying to get across college on Kirkwood. Could not get it through the snow. Very frustrating every year it snows.
Park Ridge East Park is very very very dark at night. Feels dangerous to walk Greenway. Can we get one more light even? Thank you.
Comments for Administration and City Council members: please note the Bloomington public response and feelings as executive orders from Braun come down at the federal level - it is against the core values and heart of this community. The future is remote and hybrid with emphasis on flexibility as workers are human not cattle. DEI is important in every capacity, not whatever Braun’s “innovation” plan is - that is a buzzword, not DEI. Please please please continue to actually think in a forward direction with all residents, equity, the environment, and future generations in mind. It seems the state is now going backwards; Bloomington needs to continue progressing in a positive and inclusive way. Residents hope to see a public response and show of action that does NOT align with Braun’s recent takeover. We look forward to continuing to participate in a community that does great work for ALL with workers who happily serve us. Bus 2493 at approximately 19.20 cut me off and refused to yield right away. The driver was pulling away from the curb and I was on a fully illuminated bicycle. Please forward to BPD for warning and counseling.
Does this city code also apply to bus drivers? It's posted prominently all over the downtown Transit Center, and yet mutiple bus drivers enjoy their tobacco at the entrance to the parked buses while riders waiting to board are downwind of their smoke, unable to board. Does this mean anything, or does it only apply to riders?
