Can the loose sand and gravel be swept up at the intersection of Fenbrook Lane and East Moores Pike? For westbound bicyclists on Moores Pike who are turning north onto Fenbrook, the sand and gravel presents a hazardous situation. Cyclists are approaching at speed since there is a downhill, they want to make a smooth, wide turning radius, but the sand and gravel presents an potentially dangerous obstacle while turning. I work for affordable fence ad last winter there was a deck being built at 2622 e spice wood crt. I noticed that the support beams were being set up using 4x4 posts. I told them at the time that I believed that 4x6 posts were as small as code allowed. The contractor scoffed at me and i just said "ok" and went back to work. Yesterday while doing an inspection on the fence I installed I saw that two elderly people live at the home and we're out on their deck. The deck (with them on the deck) was very rickety and moved way too much to be safe. I hate to see anyone getting one over on e elderly simply because they can. Their safety is a major issue and I can no longer be silent about the issue. Hopefully you can look into it promptly thank you! Anonymous

Hello- I was actually hit by a car on washington between 3rd and Smiths St's tonight, 3/7/24 a bit after 6 pm. A Porsche SUV driven by a college-aged female drove up next to me, then attempted to turn west onto Smith directly in front of me causing me to run into the passenger side door with my elbow and bike. I had a rear blinking light on, so this person had to have seen me as she approached. I'm fine; I yelled some very not-nice things and continued on my way. I know there's nothing to be done here, but in the interest of logging yet another incident in this area, I wanted to report. thanks again. Sorry, no picture.
