There is a broken tree limb dangling in a tree. The broken limb is over a park area. It is too high to just pull it down.

Erosion to the north of the access stairs is causing rock to accumulate at the bottom of the trail. Not only will the original problem (the erosion) get worse if left unmitigated, but the rocks are catching skateboard wheels etc of children playing at the park and on the trail, creating an unnecessarily dangerous situation.

Thank you for removing the leaves from Park Ridge Park!!!!!!
I am sure that will make an impact next season in terms of making the sloped areas of the park less likely to suffer from erosion over the winter (given the straw mulch and seed put down) and then aid in rejuvenating the grass in those areas, again leading to less erosion, less maintenance, and a better park for the neighborhood and the city! Thanks!!!

Received by email from Resident:
The Park Ridge park is receiving increased usage these days. It's a great park with wonderful amenities and we are very proud of it! We monitor it carefully to be sure all is in good repair, the grounds are litter free, and we interact with City staff as they visit to maintain the park.
As a result of this usage, parking has become an item that needs closer attention and management. With two residential homes on the circle with driveways, occasionally the two driveways are occasionally partially blocked; at least to the point where the residents of the two homes are challenged to enter or exit their driveways.
Suggestion: would you survey the circle area and consider placing stripes to designate parking spaces? This would insure if vehicles park within the designated spaces, blocking driveways would not be an issue. One resident has medical needs and occasionally requires emergency transport.
Additionally, please consider a yellow "do not park" grid stenciled to mark the walk/bike path entry off the circle. This area is often blocked by parked cars. The result is walking or biking around a vehicle to use the path. If a person in a wheelchair wished to enter the path (at the bottom of the hill), they are unable to access the path if a vehicle parks in front of the entry.

At the north end of Park Ridge Park where we have been clearing invasives, just off the Polly Grimshaw Trail before it turns west and goes along the railroad, a pallet appeared among the winter creeper and bushes last week. I saw it on the 11th. It appeared to be over the boundary, and so on the property of The Crossing. On the morning of the 18th, there was a blue tarp on a mound on the pallet. I am guessing that someone is sleeping there, but the tarp stayed quiet and unmoving while I was there. The city may not be concerned since it does not appear to be on park land, and nothing has happened, but just in case someone keeps track.

Park Ridge Neighborhood Association would like a bike rack installed at Park Ridge Park. Can the installment coincide with the Longview Greenway improvement project next year? In my mind it makes sense to be at street level.
