Last night, the streetlights on 2nd street between approximately College Mall and High St were not working. Every light was off for several blocks. I'm sure it ended crossing High St, but am not sure exactly which block it started on.

Parking on Strong Drive by Catalent employees and contractors has created hazardous conditions. Drivers have elected to park their vehicles on both the east and west sides of the street which creates a long narrow passageway that has multiple limited and blocked views for drivers navigating Strong Drive. The obstruction of Strong drive has generated much frustration and many complaints regarding safety, delay, lack of consideration. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss the challenges of navigating safely through Strong Drive with the appropriate individual(s). Someone has scattered small, clear gelatinous balls on the ground on the rubber surface near Ford Street by the green curly slides. They may be completely benign—perhaps some type of Halloween candy? But they are unfamiliar to me and, unfortunately, very appealing to my 20 month old grandson. I tried to pick them up to throw them away, but there were too many, and they were spread over a large area. They are soft and squash when walked on.

new pavement: It is good to have Smith Road repaved. It will be even better when the Grandview Drive intersection with Smith Rd is repaved - the east end of Grandview Drive leading west from this intersection is a mess, and very difficult for pedestrians and bicyclists to use. Our recycling has not been picked up in 2 weeks. There is no notices as to why and there is nothing in the bin that should not be recycled.

The car lanes all along 7th street this morning were completely clear, while the bike lanes were filled with a thick blanket of soggy, slippery leaves. A bike is infinitely more likely than a car to slip on leaves, so why would you prioritize cars and an appearance of tidiness for drivers over the safety of bikers and those around them?
