Deep potholes heading north on High St between Southdowns & Maxwell
Deep potholes heading north on High St between Southdowns & Maxwell
The large storm drain on the east side of High Street has a gaping hole where small animals fall in. Because of this hole it is not providing any type of filtering when it rains as all types of leaves and straw enter straight into the drain. There was a tube that had been around it, however, it was removed yesterday. I hope that this can be fixed soon!

The sensors for the light for traffic southbound on High St. give that direction the green light (straight and turn) even when there are no cars there. The northbound lane can sit for a while waiting for the green for a while. I haven't timed it, but it feels like a full left turn cycle. This is not only inefficient, but frustrating. When you live in the area and have to deal with this all the time, it can really be annoying.
The signal for High Street traffic always preferences the southbound traffic, even when there are no cars there. I frequently sit on the northbound side of the light waiting for it to give us the green when there are no cars at all on the southbound side. We've had cars waiting northbound, eastbound and westbound when only southbound had the green with no cars there.
As I drive west on 3rd, and get in the lane to turn south on High Street, the green arrow is not visible. I know it is functioning, because the traffic facing me stops and waits.
House w/out street number next door to the south of 801 S High is parking trucks and cars on the lawn.
Just north of Maxwell, there are at least two potholes.
Between Third and Maxwell Lane, southbound, there are several large potholes.
In the block south of Greenbriar there are potholes on both sides of the street.
