No Street lights near house on Gifford Rd. It is very difficult to walk during the dark hours.

I’m writing to request the completion of unfinished sidewalks and the addition of some crosswalks on the west side of Bloomington. The first is an unfinished stretch of sidewalk along the east side of Curry Pike from Industrial Avenue to the intersection of 2nd St./45. The sidewalk dead-ends before reaching the intersection, and there is no crosswalk at the intersection to allow pedestrians to cross safely from the north side of 2nd St./45 to the south side, or vice versa. The second is a stretch of sidewalk along the north side of 2nd St. from Liberty Drive to Industrial Avenue. This sidewalk is overgrown and near unusable and dead-ends before reaching Industrial Avenue. Moreover, the intersection at Liberty Drive and 2nd St. has a crosswalk on only the north side (going east-west) and does not allow pedestrians to cross safely from the south to north side of 2nd St., or vice versa. Lastly, the sidewalk on the west side of Curry Pike does not connect between Lamplighter Mall Ct. and Glen Oaks Drive, and connecting these stretches of sidewalk would provide better access to 3rd street and the neighborhoods along Curry Pike. It would be much appreciated if the city could complete these stretches of sidewalk and make the area more walkable for those of us who do not have other modes of transportation or who simply prefer to walk the shorter distances to reach businesses and services that are close to home. There is not street light near my property and its very difficult to see during dark hours. I am looking for a street light installed on pole 768-260 across the street from 4101 W Gifford Rd Bloomington IN. I reached out electrical company they mentioned that the street light installation request need to be gone through city of Bloomington - Please reach out to engineering and planning department at Duke Electric company.

From about 3PM - 6 PM this intersection gets backed up sometimes all the way to Aldi. There's too much left turn traffic for just one lane. There really should be either 2 left turn lanes to help prevent traffic from blocking the entrances to multiple businesses or the light should have a left turn arrow so each car no longer has to half yield to make sure the oncoming traffic isn't going straight before they can turn. It's a hazard as well as a huge inconvenience for all drivers. I'm surprised the businesses on this section of the road don't complain daily about their parking lots being practically inaccessible.

I would like more sidewalks to be installed in my neighborhood so it is safe for my dogs and I to walk in our neighborhood. We have to walk in the street and pull off to someone’s yard when cars come.

It would be great if there was a street light in this area close to the entrance of Sharon Drive when walking at night. There are some lights on Fullerton Pike on the side of the road closest to Monroe Hospital. Just one more light closer to the neighborhood entrance would make it feel safer when walking at night/early morning

House has been vacant and for sale since first of August, We have been getting billed for far more water than we used when we lived there, even when we watered outside... No running toilets, leaks, etc. Please advise .... Thanks ....

The street lamp on the corner on Maybury Mall Rd.(right next to the dumpster) is not functioning and it is pitch black back there at night. People live back here and for safety's sake it's necessary to have this area properly light.

A tree in the front lawn of this property has two large broken branches that overhang the street, and they've been so for a couple months now. A lot of people walk under these branches on their way to and from Highland Village Park, and it's only a matter of time before one or both of these branches detach and fall onto the street. Currently, you can hear them creaking and see them swaying with the wind. They need to be safely removed before they snap off.
