I understand you are all probably really busy with the snow. It would be greatly appreciated if you could run a plow through this neighborhood. The streets have not yet had any plow run through it. The neighbor have tried to shovel and snowblow some parts of the streets, but it really just needs at least one pass through by a plow. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Gigabit or AES or their contractors are installing fiber optic cable or something such as that. Will they be repairing all the grass from the holes and tracks from the heavy equipment?
Gigabit or Giga-something installed fiber optics in the neighborhood. The holes they dug in the grass were not repaired. After advising them of the situation they came out to "repair" the grass. The soil was filled with rocks and gravel. There were no grass seeds in the soil. I spent a whole day picking rocks and gravel out of the soil, buying top soil, and grassseed to fix this. The ground is no longer level and there's also rather gouges or chunks in sidewalks and curbs. The road had preexisting, but plugged pot holes near the Sare entrance, but now those potholes are open again and expanding.
Recycling was not picked up for the entire street on the even numbered houses—only the other side of the street (odd number) had their recycling picked up. Please advise
It would be greatly appreciated if you would pick up our recycling this week. For some reason, last week, an entire side of the street was completely skipped for recycling. Many of us left our bins out for an extra day, but no one came. For the past few months, they only pick up recycling on one side of the street early in the morning, and then come back later in the morning or afternoon for the other side. They only do that for recycling--yet they pick up trash all at once. They obviously forgot to come back last week. Sorry to complain, but our bins are overflowing and we pay for this service. Several new street trees were planted when the sidewalk on South Maxwell St. was added earlier this year (or maybe late last year). Some of them aren't looking in great shape anymore. I'm also confused because they were generally planted right under the power lines, which seems like it will be an issue at some point.

Yellow bamboo is growing in my neighbor's backyard (their house faces Manor, mine faces 924 S. Hawthorne) and this spring I have noticed shoots of the bamboo in my yard next to the fence. I read in the newspaper a while back that the city was trying to eliminate this invasive species so I wanted to make you aware of it. Thank you.
The city utility workers are redirecting cars heading north on Rogers onto south Madison street making it impossible to get home without taking side roads covered in ice. If the city continues to do this can they at least alert the residence or supply a better alternate route?
