Cheyenne Bowlen recently indicated the following request is not a city issue. Her assessment is incorrect. East Winslow Farm Drive IS a city street. The pothole in question has previously been repaired by the city. She may have assumed that the address I provided was on the "semi-circle drive" that extends off the main road. The pot-hole is located on the CITY street side. Please have someone do an on-site visit if you are unable to determine the location of the very seriously deep pot-hole. We would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter. The following is a record of our correspondence.
I initially wrote: "There is a significant pot hole at the end of the driveway at 521 E Winslow Farm Dr. The area in question is an "eyebrow" and several of us need to turn unto E Winslow Farm Drive from this semi-circle. The hole is rather large and deep and it has become a serious problem to avoid. The hole is located on the city street of E Winslow Frm Drive. Thank you for your attention to this matter."
The response indicates it was "Assigned to
Cheyenne Bowlen" with her response as follows:
Most tickets of this type should be closed within 7 days, although some cases may be longer. 0 days have already passed.

Sandy, The City of Bloomington does not maintain these areas. This would be the responsibility of the HOA.

Street Trees
1490 W Woodhill Drive
- Case Date:

This ash tree is dropping green leaves like its fall. We just cleaned up the yard and street on Monday evening and this is only 24 hours later. This is the only ash tree that does this in the neighborhood. Please remove this tree as it causes too much clean up. Thank you

Yard torn up where Comcast did some work a couple months ago. I tried to get Comcast to take care of this but got nothing from them - even after many calls and promises that someone would get back to me. On two seperate occasions I got case numbers. # ECM 0020878893 and ECM 0020232690 and was even told after one of them to keep my line open because I would be getting a call right back. No call came. I have written down much of what has happened during this quest if you want more info. I believe whoever is responsible should put this professionally landscaped area back together.

Traffic Related Complaints
615 W Cherokee DR
- Case Date:
- 5/1/2026
Requesting use of speed bumps or some sort of traffic mitigation device. As the new neighborhood is being built west of our location it has led to increased traffic and significant danger. Cherokee Drive is barely wide enough for two cars to pass in some areas and with increased traffic it is unsafe for children and pets. In addition, driver's have sped through when people are outside and yelled threats to people in the neighborhood. Cherokee Drive is the first access point to this neighborhood from the north on Rogers and therefore receiving the bulk of traffic especially during traditional evening commute hours.
