Wow - how can this rental be allowed to remain in this condition? MANY violations here. Trash, food, animals, car parts, unclothed children - and that is just the front yard.
The bulb in the street light has gone out.
I am an elderly individual who relies on a cart to access the course. On multiple occasions, I—and others with mobility or disability-related needs—have been turned away when requesting a spectator cart at events held at Cascades Golf Course. Many of us travel significant distances to support our grandsons and granddaughters, only to arrive and be told that no carts are available, with little more than an apology offered. As a public, municipally operated facility, this raises serious concerns about access for individuals who cannot reasonably walk the course. If these issues are not addressed, I will be pursuing a formal complaint based on accessibility concerns and will be consulting with legal counsel regarding next steps. I would strongly encourage this matter to be reviewed and resolved promptly.
There is a missing brick in the decorative pavers on the north side of the B-Line trail at the W Country Club Dr. crossing. The missing piece is substantial enough that it could cause damage to bikes/scooters, or trigger a crash.
There is an old light pole half way along the alley with a flood light high up that glares light across several lots and shines into my house and porch (748 S. Morton St.). This is not a Duke Energy pole. It is only identifiable by a number 4, about to fall off, and an inspection medallion dated 2003. The pole right at Morton, to which it is connected, says it is owned by Public Service Co. of Indiana, pole number punched into metal plaque 1627-709 and maybe also punched notches for Customer and Owned. An inspection medallion that says OSMOSE insp. 2018. D. This simplest way to end the light leakage would be to remove the light. If properly shielded to prevent the light leakage of course that would be okay too. I have photos, but I can't figure out how to add the file to this UReport. If you could send me an email address I can send the photos as a Word file. I would be glad to meet someone from the city and show them the source of the problem. Thanks for your help. best, Jean Lave
All of the new construction along Jefferson between third Street and 10th St. where they’ve made street cuts for the sewer lines need to be repaired. I believe it’s the responsibility of the contractor to repair the street and none of these repairs look to be permanent.
I’m extremely disappointed with how the project on 2nd is being handled. Someone needs to take responsibility and manage this properly. I had an appointment and was late, not because of anything I did, but because access to the business was completely blocked. I then tried to use the alley as an alternative route, only to find that it was also closed due to construction. This level of poor planning is unacceptable. If both the main access and the only alternative route are shut down at the same time, what exactly are people supposed to do, fly?
