There is a row of storage units immediately to the south of my apartment at Brandon Ct. There is a space between the units and a fence that is supposed to be maintained by Henderson Court. As you can see by the photo (I can provide more), it appears that unhoused people use it as a place to sleep. The area is strewn with trash, and mattress/foundation, and I would suspect that drug activity is or has occurred in the space. Furthermore, several packages have been stolen off of my stoop by occupants of this space. Clearly, this poses a health and safety hazard. I ask that the City investigate the area and assess fines and other sanctions against Granite, the listed property owners or managers. In addition to clean up and possible environmental remediation, I want the area secured in such a fashion that in the future no unhoused people can reoccupy the space. The Department may also need to contact Henderson Court for erection of a fence that denies access for the length of the fence that serves as the property line between Henderson Court and Brandon Court. Are electric bicycles allowed on the 7-Line? Several times I have been nearly knocked over on my bicycle because a speeding electric bike zooms past without any warning going about 30 mpg. Seems like the bicycle-designated lanes should be for non-motorized vehicles.

Street Trees

The image is one of the sycamore trees planted along Madison, where the planter space is being outgrown. It appears that the metal sides of the box could be removed, and some bricks as well, to give the trees space to continue to grow. The trees are really an asset, and I hope that the arborist team can help keep them healthy. Just FYI!

Nuisance Lights

I contacted the property manager and she said that this light could not be shielded or dimmed or adjusted for "safety". I would like to see if this is something that would constitute a light violation for the city so that it could be adjusted. I made a previous request about this light due to it shining into our bedroom window after a tree was cut down which had been blocking much of the light. Is there something that could be done?

Nuisance Lights

The bike store recently put up a super bright orange neon light in the window facing Grant Street that says Velotric. It lights up the apartments across the street all night long. Can they turn it off at night or move it to another window? This is a neighborhood not a mall. They are the only busines in the area.

2403 N Browncliff LN

In a storm a couple of months ago a tree fell and took out powerlines and pole on our property at 2403. But there are other lines down that must be ATT or Xfinity lines. I've called Xfinity and they have done nothing. I doubt the lines are dangerous, but I hope there is a way to compel them to deal with this issue (which also affects other neighbors whose properties the lines run through. FYI we purchased the 2403 property in order to renovate the existing structure. We are in process of designing the renovations, and cleaning out the derelict property.
