on the 7-line, between walnut and washington, theres gravel in the bike lane that came from the median strip landscaping. two separate properties on this block pose this problem. the landscapers recently refreshed the gravel, and when they did, they dropped some directly in the bike lane, and they also overflowed the planters that are continuing to drain into the bike lane. the gravel is largely hidden by leaves at the moment, which only exacerbates the danger. i must emphasize that this is a transportation safety issue, and if planning cannot resolve it, then engineering or PW must solve it. thanks! - greg
It does not appear that any of the recycling bins were emptied in our block (Driscoll between Henderson and S. Dunn).
Walkway still blocked by snow plowed up by city plow from E. State Ct. alley a week after, with all other walkways clear. Please do not plow up more snow from E. State Court to block this walkway in new snowfalls. See my Ureport #207038; Earlier Ureport #207011 of same problem said walkway is not city-maintained. Okay, but it is a paved, well-used walkway, and a city plow should not be blocking it with huge snow piles.
This is a repeat of ureport 206607. Gravel and vegetation on the sidewalk north of 801 N Walnut. Thank you for the improvement! This has been a very long-standing problem and this is the first progress i have witnessed. However, i would ask you to please demand the Entire Width of sidewalk. There is still an entire 1 foot width of sidewalk buried for most of the length of the scholars properties. Thanks!
