Stop light flashing red all directions
Stop light flashing red all directions
The no truck signs at W. Allen and S. Fairview Streets are faded and less obvious to truck drivers unfamiliar with this restricted route. Some realize their mistake at the intersection of Allen and Rogers. Others mow down the stop sign and neighbor’s yard. The signs at Allen and Patterson were replaced a few years ago, but they ignore those too.
Lights are still out on a portion (long portion) of the trail - been over a week since I gave notice. it's dark there, even flying through on a bike. walking, it would be a long stroll in the dark. what's up? waiting on a part? if so, we should order some extras to have around. if we are waiting on a vendor, we should get a backup vendor. just seems important to safety and being able to patrol it effectively. Sorry to chafe on you, but nearing 70 years young and not looking forward to tussling with any hoodlums that get emboldened by the lack of lights. And I did not see the security guys, which was weird on a night without lights, their little vehicle should have stood out to me. Thanks in advance for taking care of this.
Street Light is out
When is the broken tree that was marked for removal months ago going to be removed?
Broken glass in street and bikelane
Roadkill blocking southbound lane
There is an abandoned funeral home behind a property I manage and it is causing issues. There are people sleeping in and around the building. This building has already caught fire, there is an obscene amount of trash and needles around the property and building that is now flowing over into Extra Space Storage property. There has to be a way to clean up this issue so that businesses can run properly and their employees are not at risk. I had to call BPD just to walk around to the back to clean up after these people today.
Duke Energy finished cleaning the vegetation in the utility easement located on 5th street, now the homeowner needs to remove all of the invasive species: Asian bush honeysuckle, privet, winter weed and white mulberry to name a few. This is in the back of the property facing 5th and is past the utility easement.
A few months back I brought to your attention there were missing "no parking" post/signs in the 300/400 block of E 19th St. You acknowledged this and after a month or so you put in Two 10ft poles and put two 4 inch by 4 inch "no parking" signs on the poles that are facing the wrong direction. So basically, you installed two giant poles, and with two miniature signs that are facing the wrong direction, and cars are still parking along the 300/400 blk of E 19th St. on a regular basis. The parking employee does a great job of ticketing the violators, however the cars stayed parked there for hours causing traffic congestion.
