I have two specific incidents with photos and videos at Hopewell Park. The particular image I have attached is from 8 o’clock this morning Thursday, September 4. I parked at the Hopewell Park. I see a male and female individual that had camped out underneath one of the two concrete ping-pong tables, I assume all night. They were just getting up, They had been asleep under the table. The adjacent ping pong table was covered with blankets for whatever reason making it in accessible for use. The parking space adjacent to the two ping-pong tables had a van with one individual in it, and two sitting on the cement walls in front of it. It was obvious they were living in this van. I came back through the area on my lunchtime break, and the van had not moved, people still sitting in the van and beside it, I came back through the park again at 5 o’clock on my way home from work, and the van was still sitting in the same location with two individuals sitting outside at. The couple that had everything thrown out on the ping-pong tables was gone this evening at 5 o’clock. My husband and I went there last week to the farmers market and were harassed by a very large group of approximately 13 on house people that were sleeping on the picnic tables, sitting on the swings. We purchased pizza and lemonade Shake up from the vendors at the farmers market, and there was no place for us to sit and enjoy it because this group of individuals had bags, blankets, personal items, Strewn all over the the area. There were two individuals asleep on the table benches. I have videos of all of this. I did report it and share the videos with the parks department liaison that was there for farmers market. Her name was Camille. My husband and I would like to take our grandson to the area and our grandchildren to play ping-pong. I do not feel comfortable with a toddler around the area in fear. There are residual needles and trash from the individuals that appeared to have slept there overnight and hang out there. The fourth incident I would like to report is a small group of individuals were in the park this Tuesday, September 1 and one was practicing some type of karate or something with a long stick that looks dangerous. Again, I would not take our family there around this situation And these groups of people that are intimidating with their words, their actions and all of their belonging spread out around the entire seating areas . Running some sort of car business out of the home. At least 7 cars parked all along the road with random people working on cars day and night on the street. No place to park. Looks like trash. Car parts and debris everywhere all the time. Not appropriate for a neighborhood at all

Reporting AGAIN this issue. This section of E 3rd Street, from 446 to Clarizz, is dangerous since you've taken the lanes from 4 to 2. The number of wrecks has increased SIGNIFICANTLY. Today, a motorcyclist. Last week a rear-ending. Most of this results from traffic coming west over the hill and there's simply too much traffic for the 2 lanes. The city has approved these apartments along this stretch and traffic load has gone up while lanes cut in half. PEOPLE ARE GETTING HURT as a result of this change. This is directly the city and collab with the state's fault. I hold you responsible for this change. FIX IT.

The Sycamore Knolls area tennis courts (off Hillside) is overgrown with weeds, both along the fence and on the court itself. Seems like the courts are not being kept up.

I thought I sent a U-Report. When I have done this in the past, I then usually receive an email acknowledging it was received and a case number. Last evening and again today have not received one. I have been a city volunteer first serving on the Environmental Commission for five years and Since stepping down ince then with the Park Department, Utility Department and with MC-IRIS on environmental issues. Flood control and preventing waste contaminating is still part of my present volunteering. As part of these efforts, I remove litter and street debris from storm drains in my neighborhood and City Parks. I have been collecting broken pavement and plastic waste. The plastic waste I either dispose of in either my residential trash or a park trash barrel. The pavement I seperate and store until I submit a U-request for a sanatation crew to pick up at my the edge our driveway. That was the nature of my recent U-report attempt. I have placed a strong plastic bag of broken pavement on the bottom west side edge of my driveway for a pick up. My address is 2305 S. Sussex Dr. Don Eggert

Bushes blocking view when trying to turn on Williamsburg Dr

Twice now over the past 4 days, I have been walking in the middle of this crosswalk across High St, and a car coming the other way does not stop and drives around me, once when I had two children behind me. Both were white female drivers in their 60s/70s. Perhaps their vision does not see the white painted crosswalk area OR the yellow signs, but I'm thinking they are choosing to break the law. Mateo is a wonderful crossing guard, but he was not there either of these two times. This area needs to be repainted with high visibility/reflective paint, a blinking light on the signs, or at the very minimum, monitored by police for a while. Someone is going to get killed.

Coming from Woodlawn, heading towards the intersection with Hawthorne and Ballantine, there are several willow (?) trees that have such low-hanging branches that they hit pedestrians and cyclists in the face.
