Small deceased buck that slid down the embankment between 1497 and 1456 SR 446. I’ve called the non-emergency Bloomington police number, they told me to call the DNR. The DNR told me the city/highway department. So I’m hoping we can get this poor little boy taken away.

Auto Heaven (junkyard) is parking junk cars on both the South and North sides of Allen St. Several are on the first block west of Walnut Street, which is not his property.
Can you please get him to move these? The unhoused have access to them and sleep in them. It's not safe for them and it's a serious eyesore for pedestrians and bikers.
The owner of Auto Heaven should be storing these junk cars behind his fences where they are out of sight and cannot be accessed by the unhoused.

Overgrown bushes at above address do not allow for safe crossing at stop sign driving east on Davis Street. Looks to me like the bushes are going to have to be removed all the way back to the ground. Not just trimmed a little bit. Thank you for your help!

The field on Christopher Way has yet to be mowed this year. I called and filed a complaint. I contacted Abby Scott and still nothing has been done. I am getting a lot of mice in my yard and they are coming from that field. Isn’t the city required to mow it and then bill the owner if the owner isn’t taking care of it? Can someone PLEASE take care of this.

Safety hazard: There is Exposed barbed wire on the edge of the playing fields. Along the eastern edge where the fields meet the woods, there are several lines of barbed wire. They have been there for decades, but I recently saw a person get cut from them when they went into the edge of the woods to retrieve a ball. It is particularly dangerous starting at the press box and walking north along the woods - about 4 feet in from the playing fields. In some areas, it is a single piece of barb wire about 3 feet off the ground – easy to run into. In other areas (behind one set of bleachers) there is more of it in coils on the ground. Towards the northern edge where the field meets the woods, it is farther into the woods and it is a fence. I think it would be in the City’s and the community‘s best interest to remove this to avoid further injury. I suggest staff scan the entire line to make sure they get it all and don’t miss the pieces that are hidden by growth.
These are the coordinates for a section that is on the ground and hard to see;
39.12601° N, 86.50944° W
(In one photo I took of the barbed wire it is almost impossible to see because it blends in with the sticks.)

The courtyard at the 900 block of North Lindbergh drive has always flooded. The situation may have just been exacerbated even after construction is complete unless proper drainage is included before concrete is poured. I also don't really want motorcycles and motor scooters revving up all hours of the day and night outside of my apartment, and hope that this will only be for bicycles and non-motored vehicles. We now have what may become a huge mosquito breeding pool in our front yard.
Potholes, Other Street Repair

When W 6th St was repaved they left some utility access places (sometimes called "manholes") lower than the street surface. These could easily bend a bicycle wheel and could cause a cyclist to be injured. There are one or more of these in each block in the 500, 600, & 700 blocks. Some are near the north curb and are sometimes (but not always) covered by parked cars, and some are in the westbound driving lane.

A cap for water access has been coming out and creating a possible problem for drivers. I have reported this a number of times and fixed it many times, including this morning. The next time, I'll take the cap home so that it can't cause problems.
