In a storm a couple of months ago a tree fell and took out powerlines and pole on our property at 2403. But there are other lines down that must be ATT or Xfinity lines. I've called Xfinity and they have done nothing. I doubt the lines are dangerous, but I hope there is a way to compel them to deal with this issue (which also affects other neighbors whose properties the lines run through. FYI we purchased the 2403 property in order to renovate the existing structure. We are in process of designing the renovations, and cleaning out the derelict property.

I recently advocated for my apartment building smoking to be25 ft away they moved it but it's now in the back of the building where there are 50 unit windows and ventilation system and out of contact HUD and I've contacted the PHA and I don't know what to do when it's 25 feet away but that is drifting to the windows and I know that there are people that could establish stricture policies. Help

After battling with code my apartment building it 25 ft away with the smoking but they only moved it 25 ft away but it's still entering the 50 some windows in the back where they placed it and going in the ventilation system and I've tried contacting the Bloomington Housing Authority about it. I don't know what to do any recommendations I was told that the PHA can help enforce stricter things or even make a designated smoking area that's further than 25 ft away when I reached out to Bloomington Housing Authority I'm not too sure if I spoke with PHA they weren't very helpful I thought about contacting the health department because they can come out and see which way the wind blows and where it's drifting inside but when I looked it up I really didn't see anything to tell them about smoke issues. Sidewalk along Hillsdale was broken by recent sewer repairs at the stated location.

Safety issue occurs M-Fri. Illegal parking on both sides of Wylie Farm Road off Henderson. This happens everyday with many cars on both sides when the high school is letting out. Emergency vehicles could not get through, cars cannot get through, kids in streets. No parking signs are faded. Maybe City needs to have police patrol to ticket to get this stopped.

I quote the city Ordinance 15.040.020 (Abandoned vehicle means): 2) A vehicle left on public property continuously without being moved for three days. The white sedan at 613 S Eastside Drive has not been moved for over 30 days. Plus has a license plate that expired in Nov. 2025. "Neighbors' dispute" or not, does that invalidate the City Ordinance?

The accessible stall in the College Mall men's food court restroom does not stay locked or closed. I have submitted contact forms to the mall 3 times this year. No communication response or action from the mall. Anything you can do to help?

I have almost got hit by cars when I was walking to campus—east on Wylie—more that a few times. This unsafe!!!!!!! Really-/fix it before somebody gets killed. It’s especially crazy at night. Should I have to walk out of my way to be safe-/I mean I live on Wylie and there’s no cut through!
