Hi, I don’t know if the parks department or city cares much about it but there are large patches of Japanese knotweed growing along the trail. It's a tricky plant to get rid of and requires strategic doses of herbicide at specific stages in it's life cycle and for multiple years. Y'all might already be aware and I've chatted with a lady working on other invasives along the trail. I live in Broadview 2nd and have been keeping my eyes out for it to keep it out of the neighborhood. I just wanted to bring it to someone's attention. The subreddit for invasive species seems to have the most up to date methods of attack and discussion I've found. Cutting it down only makes it angry and dig in/spread more. Feel free to call or text if you need any more information from me.
Thanks
Richard

There is a back-hoe parked in the back-yard, animal cages and multiple vehicles on the property. He is running two separate business from the house and the whole place looks like Pigeon Hill. All of our neighbors are very upset about how the property is full of junk and don't how he can do this in a neighborhood.

My wife and I noticed Poison Hemlock right on the trail where b-line crosses Rogers by Baywood. Maybe about 4-5 plants. If our child had been walking she would have touched these.
Can you guy drive the trail and get rid of them?
Thanks for the great trail!
Geoff

There is a row of some type of plant right between the road and sidewalk at the top of the hill. It is blocking the ability to see cars coming up over the hill. It’s very hard to pull out left off of Howe onto Roger’s going north because of this.

I believe the city's fiber company (Gigabit Now) has a covered hole near the fire hydrant at the end of our driveway. The green cover to this hole sits probably higher than some people think and the person that mows most of the lawns in our neighborhood must have ran over it and it broke into several pieces. It appeared to be low enough for that not to happen but it must have been higher than he thought. Now there is a decent sized hole with no cover as the other cover is irreparable. If it can be replaced for safety reasons we will be sure to let the lawn guy know to watch out for it. Thank you for your attention in this matter!

Dear Sir/Madam,
This is a request regarding stormwater runoff and property flooding.
This a formal request for assistance and an inquiry regarding significant stormwater runoff impacting our property located at 4244 E Stephens Drive. We reside at 3625 E Tamarron Dr. and are writing to you concerning repeated flooding at our aforementioned property during recent severe storm events.
Our property at 4244 E Stephens Drive has experienced flooding on two separate occasions due to the substantial volume of rainwater rushing from the street into our driveway and subsequently into the garage and house. We believe this issue is primarily caused by the combined slopes of the street leading to our property and our driveway, which directs a large influx of stormwater directly towards our residence. We had a professional assess the situation, and they recommended that the City's Engineering or Drainage Department investigate the matter. Thus we are requesting that a city engineer or drainage specialist visit our property to evaluate the existing conditions. Our goal is to explore potential solutions to mitigate or divert the excessive rainwater runoff from the street, thereby preventing it from overwhelming our existing garage drainage system.
We are hopeful that a city representative can identify measures to protect our property from future flooding incidents. Please contact us at your earliest convenience to schedule a site visit or discuss this matter further. You can reach us at 812-340-7863 (cell) or 812-332-9005 (land phone) so that we can be there when your engineer comes.
Thank you for your time and attention to this urgent issue.
Have a wonderful day!
Sincerely,
Shingshong & Hwamei Shei
