“Now Open” feather flags hanging over the sidewalk. Thank you!
The only street light here has been out for a while. It is very very dark on this street at night. Hard to see anything without using a flashlight and there is night time foot traffic and I and my neighbors would feel more comfortable going outside at night if the light was operating properly.
Yard with grass not mowed to date this year. Approaching 5 foot tall. Potential danger. Tickets still posted on door
Overgrown and unkempt lawn. Contains trash and plastic bags. Home looks abandoned and poorly maintained. Overgrowth is unsightly and a danger to those walking down the street (curb access blocked) and to cars trying to safely turn at corner. There have been multiple stray cats in the neighborhood, at least one appears near this property.
Plants are blocking the speed limit sign on Nancy St.
Attempted occasional renovation work at 101 S Jefferson St is leaving the structure open for weeks at a time. There is clear line of sight from 5th street into the main structure. I believe there is a permit displayed. The climbing vines are covering the openings faster than the construction crew.
North side of lot along alley is overgrown with huge vines growing up the trees (wintercreeper, ivy, etc.) that are a hazard. Also, bush honeysuckle and tree-of-heaven growing on east property line in the back near the alley, growing into neighboring property.
Lots of junk lying around unprotected from weather in backyard behind the garage including an old, rotted-out VW sitting near the NE corner of lot, all clearly visible from street and alley.
A car has been dumped in the yard behind this boarded-up home for what looks like years. However, now it is inviting others to dump debris near the car-including furniture.
Piles of trash and refuse all over property and lying against building. Popular restaurants/pubs nearby.
