Please consider adding a stop sign at the intersection of Highland and the street leading into/out of the YMCA property. Curving road, ascending and descending roads, blocked views, speeding cars, pedestrians and children. Need a safer way to cross and turn at this intersection. Thank you
Planet fitness- Just now, the dispenser for the water bottles has black mildew or mold all around it. It’s very gross and a lot of people use it, although it’s dirty and never kept clean. Please send people to check it out
On the corner of Covenanter and high on the right as you’re heading south on high there’s a dangerous drop off into a rocky drainage area that needs to have a guardrail or some type of protection. The road lists in the direction of the drop off and at some point fire and rescue is going to have to fish a car out of the drop off. Not sure how this was allowed to be built without a guardrail. It may be the biggest pothole in the city.
See closed case #184736: in front of Mother Bear's on E Third Street. The metal drain cover on the sidewalk again has fallen in and is a tripping hazard for pedestrians. Maybe it is time to look for a more permanent solution rather than just putting it back in its place.
Hello! Today, March 12, was supposed to be our garbage pick up day but for some reason our garbage bin, placed at the end of our driveway as instructed, was not emptied/collected. Do you know if the garbage service will still come through later today? Our recycling bin was collected/emptied on time this morning by the city service so I’m just wondering about the garbage. Predatory Towing in Bloomington. I have noticed an increase in the amount of tow trucks in and around the downtown area. In particular, Speedy Wrecker Service, has continually towed multiple vehicles in parking meters and then demanded payment be made in cash only. If the city wants people to be invited to spend time downtown they need to create a city ordinances that addresses the cost of towing $100 flat fee and also uses the 24 hour waiting period. What kind of community does Bloomington want to be?
Trash bin left by pick up crew in the middle of our driveway. Please don't do that.
Caller states that there is bamboo growing at the brookdale property on the east side behind the homes on Claybridge. He said he talked to us last summer.
There should be a barrier between the Moose parking lot and Smith so that cars don't park in the road (causing bikes to exit their lane).
