Animal Care and Control, Today, Sunday Oct 8 at 4:15 two young Siberian Huskies are on Highway 45 West headed towards town. Sheriff Dept will not respond b/c neither is injured or aggressive. No one at Animal Shelter answered phone, of course, being Sunday. They did not appear to be either. They seemed happy to be free and going to town.

My car was broken into I believe on 10/09/23. It was parked in the Morton Street Parking Garage, 3rd level. It doesn't appear that they took anything. I don't leave things in my car, but documents from my glovebox were out on my seat.

The water smells and tastes TERRIBLE!! It seems that this is a recurring problem. I suspect there is a solution that the city is unwilling to implement. It is unacceptable to have this problem every year. Calling it an aesthetic problem is a cop out. I should not have to buy bottled water to have drinkable water.

Thank you! This morning I discovered that the boardwalk on the path through the middle of Bryan Park has had grit strips installed!! Thank you. This is the boardwalk I slipped on last January and injured my wrist badly enough to have a cast on it for 8 weeks. So, I am very grateful that the surface has been improved! Thank you! I received this parking violation ticket at 11 on October 11th and I wanted to appeal it. I was at work (at Starbucks off of Indiana Ave) while I received this ticket. I had the parking pass from Starbucks in my car and received a ticket. I have parked in this spot before while having the parking pass visible and not received a ticket. There were other cars on the street not aligned with the parking meters so I believe it was a mix up because I was aligned with the meter while I had the valid pass.

I am not finding where to record my concern of the proposed jail. It should not be in a highly populated residential area that includes an elementary school. There has to be a better location. The one property was rejected due to wrong zoning. I know that zoning can be changed. If it proceeds in this populated area and property values go down, will taxes go down also?
There is always a chance of escape, why put a lot of people at risk and being fearful.
Thank you, Ruth Holman

Stoplight at 46 & Kinzer Pike is out. It appears to be a power outage (no power at nearby Marathon station).
