On 1/24/2025 and 9:15 AM on bus #0348, I observed the strong odor of and could see smoke-haze from deisel exhaust backing up into the public bus. I have spoken to Bloomington Transportation dispatch and customer service and was told that, "That is just part of the bus's regenerative re-uptake process." When they refused to take this matter seriously in the past, I contacted the EPA. The EPA shall be contacted again on this issue since neither the city nor bus company will take this matter seriously, which inevitably affects the city's rating with the EPA as a green-friendly city. This location has multiple dogs that are left outside at all hours of the day and into the evening where the continuously barking Others in our neighborhood adjacent have contacted animal control in the past. With the freezing temperatures the dogs are constantly barking and crying at the back door to be let inside, but are rarely if ever let back in. This cannot be good for the dogs and causes issues for others in the neighborhood intending to get work done.
