Parks and recreation, I wanted to know if there is legal right-of-way for pedestrians at the south end or the rail trail where it stops at west dillman rd. The property owners have placed fencing and no trespassing signs. I simply would like clarification if easement rights apply so that I may continue to access the rail trail beyond Dillman rd. Have the property owners gained true rights by forfeit of the rail line due to disuse?
The amount of litter all alone Acuff Road is ridiculous. We are polluting our earth, and nothing is being done about it. It would be nice to not have a beautiful, scenic drive be ruined by various clutter. Is there any way we could get the Monroe County Jail to participate in the cleaning up of Bloomington? Somebody must take action; as it is getting out of hand. Thank you for your time.

I ride my bike to campus and use the tunnel that runs below the 46 Bypass between 10th and 3rd. The walls of the tunnel, especially on the west-side opening have a lot of graffiti including profanity. It's a shame that people feel the need to destroy public resources but maybe the way to discourage people from 'tagging' walls would be to have local schools paint murals.

Good morning! I just want to be sure you are aware that one of the courts here is still unusable. The net that has been up all winter is still fine. The net that was just re-installed a couple of weeks ago has collapsed. With the warmer weather, these courts get a lot of use and I know a bunch of us would be delighted to have both courts in play. Hello, My name is Grant Seifers. I have lived at 2104 E. Arden Dr. for almost my entire life now, I am 23, and Southeast park has always been a big part of my life as a park that I could always use and take pride in living so close to! That being said, I still live at the same house I grew up in because I am an IU student trying to save money. My friends and I still use the basketball courts and yesterday we noticed that their age was really showing. The goals are very out of date and probably original to the courts being made, the rims are bent, one goal is missing a net, and one of the goals is bent altogether. I did notice a few years ago the court was re sealed and painted, but no notice was given to the actual goals. which is pretty important also. It would be awesome to see new goals put in place before summer gets here, because a lot of people would be thrilled to see that. Also putting in metal bleachers or some kind of seating would be really great to see! Thanks for hearing me out, and hopefully we can look forward to playing on some nice goals this summer in the park!
