There is a heavily overgrown mulberry hanging down into Monroe Street, towards the back of this property near the intersection of Monroe Street and W Cottage Grove Ave. the branches are hanging low enough that they scrape the top of vehicles. Not sure if the city can trim it or if it’s the homeowner’s responsibility. I also advise that the city encourage the owner to remove the tree entirely since it is an invasive white mulberry.
Excessive growth in the front yard is spreading and leaning into the street as there is no curb in this stretch of Hillsdale. If one were to take a flat blade shovel, one could scrape 4-6 inches of vegetation off the asphalt between 229 and 225.
Tree/bush is blocking the sidewalk, have to duck or walk off sidewalk. Needs trimmed
The house is in Stonegate (entrance off Smith Rd) but the bushes blocking the sidewalk are on Hagen St.
Untrimmed weed takes up half the sidewalk
The striping separating the eastbound lane of W Dodds St from the westbound lane/S College merge lane is always gone. This creates visual confusion. Many drivers going east drive in the middle of the road because it appears unstriped. Then, drivers coming southbound from S College don't realize that they have a small width to turn into, causing a severe collision hazard. I use this junction to leave my neighborhood, and 80% of the time, someone is flying down south on S College and coming far too close to my vehicle at speed. This could be fixed with a small, highly visible *physical barrier*, perhaps of concrete or rubber. I have not once seen the painted stripe at this location since it apparently wears off so fast.
The green left turn light coming out of the mall on the street between Fazoli's and BJ Brewhouse onto South College Mall Rd is inoperative. This causes the left turn lane to only get the yellow caution signal for a few seconds before the light goes red ( the main light issred if no one trips the signal to cycle from the straight ahead or right turn lane.) so then the left turners are sitting at the light until the right hand lane trips the (Main) signal to cycle to green.
Left turn green arrow to head south on college mall road from the westbound road into eastland plaza from college mall is dysfunctional
There is a street sign that's leaning to the left a lot and it's into the road if someone can fix, please. Right by Hopscotch Coffee. The sign is a pedestrian crosswalk sign.
