Interesting...as the Office of the Mayor reported on their FB page that the Office of Mayor WAS aware of Monday night's national security exercise and was notified ahead of time. Over the years this created a line of crumble in Pickwick, in the last two years this has become a serious hazard for bicycles, pedestrians and not too good for our cars. Is there a chance we could get some blacktop put down on this? I'll be taking bids to resurface my driveway this summer, and it would be best if the street was repaired before this work gets done. All My garbage was not picked up today. Only the bag on the top. This is not packed hard and should have dumped easily.
Bring back the arts to the city farmers market. Everything needs to be in a central location. I am not going to go out of my way twice a week to a Tuesday market and Saturday when I work on tuesdays. There’s a great need for Tuesday market, but it’s just for food. Please bring back the culture, life, art, and vibrancy to the original staple of the BTown farmers market. We want the vendors, food, and music/art all in one
Campaigning now to have parks accomplish their master plan goal of more greenspace/parks on the east side… turn the giant old Macy’s parking lot into a park. Please this is never utilized as parking and it is just a bunch of concrete and pavement over there. The mall is dying but parks are not!
Trash not completely picked up. It looks like they barely tipped my trash can because the heavy trash bag in the bottom did not come out. And it's the bag that will get stinky before next week. Since I pay for the service I expect that it be done properly. My address is 401 North Sheffield drive and the trash is still by the curb. I'm attaching a picture of the contents that are left.
