I have interest a put food truck in the university area. The Food not inexpensive. Every student can afford. What kind of permit and license required food truck.
I live at 817 E 2ND ST. The west side of my garage was tagged last month during the night (3/25/14) with black spray paint; it is the first time my property has been tagged, but a few years ago a person made spray paint drawings on the paved alley. The garage is along an alley mid way between East 2nd St and Hunter Ave. I reported it to the Bloomington Police and an officer came, took statement, and took photos. The case # 3/25/2014-114. I only recently found out from my Elm Heights neighborhood Association that there might be city help to remove the graffiti. Now that the weather is getting warmer, I am hoping that Graffiti Management will help me out. This person also tagged a telephone ground box located midway between 2nd and Hunter.
there is a dead deer on S Highland just south of Maxwell in elm heights. not sure which report to use.
Trash and porch couch at 515 n Washington st.
A couple of years ago my church was asked to remove a sign we had on our church property for some event we were going to have. I am just wondering if the sign for a 'Game Development Camp' in July to be held at IU, that is attached to a fence at the SW corner of High and Second Street, is legitimate. Thanks for checking into this.
2nd time graffiti is on wall of staircase. See last year's removal report
I'm sorry the location got messed up on my submission about the rutt in the alley. It is between 1st and University off of Hawthorne, behind 1115 E. 1st St. Once again, a deep rutt in front of my parking space behind my house. Thanks.
I wanted to pay my compliments to Mike Stinson, a supervisor in Street Utilities. I had asked Mike about a concern I had with a location in the city, and Mike took the time out of his day to personally come out and thoroughly inspect the site, both in his vehicle and on foot. Beyond this, he called me back and patiently and thoroughly explained the processes and specific codes involving my concern, and then went on to tell me how he could help. It was finished in less than 24 hours. Mike went far above and beyond the requirements of his job to help me out as a concerned citizen, and I want to make sure he is properly thanked and recognized for his work with the City. He makes me proud to be a Bloomington Resident. Again, please let him know what an excellent job he has done in not only helping me individually, but helping us all stay safer. Thanks again for your great work, Mike!
