MISSED PICK-UP/TRASH
Morrison's TV & Appliance Store has been trying to demolish the little yellow shed, which is located directly to the east of Mr. Holmes house. The demolition project has been going on and off for some time. Each time they tear the roof off, pieces of roofing and tar paper end up on Mr. Holmes front porch, back porch and the east side of his yard.
An anonymous caller asked that we have someone check the entrance to 4000 E. 3rd. She feels that sewage is coming up out of the ground but landlord says it is not his reponsibility. Told caller that we would send someone to check it out and also suggested that she call Health Dept. Advised caller that if it were a leak in one of the main lines of CBU that we would repair it; however, we would not repair a private line. Caller will talk to manager and call T&D Dept. back.
Mr. Brunetti has problem with Neighborhood Dev. reg: inspections. Lives in NW IND., didn't know about compliance of insp. until this year. Problem: he feels that HAND is forcing him to either take day off, or hire someone to manage properties for him to meet inspections. He said he spoke to Susie J. to make exception (to meet on Sat.'s), her response was 1) wasn't in budget, 2)noone wld probably meet then. He askes, "who is off M-F between hrs of 8a-5p?". (Owns Varsity Villa #428 & 375).
