this empty lot or parking lot is a dumping ground for some reason, there was a dumpster there before and i picked up trash and put it in there, now theres no dumpster and trash, and bags of trash are just laying there. needs attention. thx always just tring to help keep our city cleaner.
excessive trash on front of house.
sofa on sidewalk, trash
Trash bins being stored on sidewalk and in full view of the street.
Trash bins being left on street. Several properties in the block are also doing this.
sofa at curb, other trash
Invasive plants (bush honeysuckle?)on NW corner of property along Cottage Grove have grown out so far that the sidewalk is almost unusable. A wheelchair could probably not easily navigate it without getting stuck in the grass of the ROW. Should be trimmed back to property line, at least.
I know my neighbors have complained about the grass at 3522 E. Morningside Drive being really high. The owner lives in Colorado I believe. The front yard that I can see the grass is so high that it is an eyesore. There must be some way to contact the owner. Occasionally I see a car in the driveway, but the tall grass is not addressed and it is never mowed. What is the resolution here.
The traffic management by the company doing construction at the intersection of Henderson and Winslow is really frustrating. I know disruption is expected with construction, however, I would expect: 1. some clear signage, both in advance (there's nothing on Henderson/Walnut Pike)) as well as directing traffic (literally construction guys pointing fingers at this large, busy intersection with multiple turn lanes. Not effective or safe. And they have the audacity to yell at some of the cars not listening to their unclear pointing). 2. I would expect some respect to get traffic through when they can. I sat there for 10 minutes this morning when there was multiple instances where they were in between tasks and could have let us go for a few minutes, but they kept us waiting.
