A fairly deep depression suddenly formed in the pavement in the street in front of our house. It currently not very large in diameter, and it is very close to the edge of the road, so I’m not sure it’s that much of a hazard to cars. But it could become a problem If it continues to grow.
The issue occured in Winslow Woods Creek during native habitat restoration in the creek running north to south between Aug 3, 2023 and Aug 4, 2023. The Urban Greenspace volunteer Weed Wrangle team were working in a dry creek on Thursday Aug 3 pulling Japanese stiltgrass between 8am to 10am. On our return Friday morning Aug 4, 8am to 10am, we found the creek saturated, pools of water in some areas, our pulled weeds banked in small dams, all indicating a flood had occurred during the 24 hour period. It did not rain during this period. I called CBU 812 339 1444, on Aug 4, at 1:44pm, to ask if a water main had been discharged during the time in question. No one has returned my call. Black top sidewalk put in by apartment contractors at Clarizz and 3rd looks like a turning lane!! Paint the curb and put walking sign on “sidewalk” ASAP please…. Tire marks already on curb where folks have hit it.
There was a homeless camp in the woods by Clear Creek at the end of Pinewood Drive. The people have moved on, as all their tents have been removed. However, there is a lot of remaining trash. Is it possible to have sanitation clean up this area? Please let me know if I need to contact someone else for this request. Thank you!
I'm writing with a complaint/suggestion about the mowing of Bryan Park. I am retired and live on South Manor Road. My backyard faces Bryan Park across the street. On days when the weather is nice, I enjoy sitting on my deck in the morning, drinking coffee and bird watching, usually between 7:30 and 8:30. Many (most) mornings the gentleman who mows the park is on his riding mower and mowing along either side of Woodlawn, starting as early as 7am. Yesterday it was 7:30, this morning it was 7:45. It's loud and disruptive; this morning the cat panicked and ran inside! Is it necessary to mow near houses so early in the morning? Could it be suggested to the gentleman to mow the interior of the park that early? Thanks for considering, Rich

The traffic signal at Bryan St at the intersection with 3rd and High Streets is not working properly. It does not cycle to green in sequence with the other streets unless the front car pulls forward into the crosswalk. This creates an unsafe situation for both pedestrians and drivers. Please fix the light so that it cycles properly with the signals for the other streets. Thank you.
