I received a call from Ms. Toon because her rental home had received 5 to 6 inches of sewage in the basement during the storm this weekend. She said she thought this had been fixed by the city when we did our project on Wimbleton and she thinks the city should be responsible for all the expenses she is incurring. She wanted to sell the house but she won't be able to because of this issue.
I wonder what can be done about 2102 E. Wimbleton Lane in southeast Bloomington. No one has lived there a several years. Someone does cut the lawn, but the house is aging and in disrepair. In the past months, the gutter over the garage is falling off and the house is becoming a real eye-sore. Can anything be done to locate the owners and have them keep up maintenance on the house? Customer's address is 2102 E Wimbleton. I spoke w/ customer on 12/27/13 and advised him to contact Renee Rose in the Risk Dept and provided him with her contact #.
A dead deer in someone's yard. Smells strongly. Attracting pests and dogs.
The branches encroaching on the sidewalk have gotten to be too much on High St. just South of Wimbleton. Pedestrian traffic is significant here, especially now that school has started, and it's honestly challenging for adults to get past one another while ducking under the branches. This is a popular place for people to ride their bikes on the sidewalk, taking their kids to school, and an adult biking on the sidewalk going down the hill might be in danger of being decapitated by all the branches.
The school zone/speed limit sign east of the intersection of Wimbleton & High Street has been knocked over into the middle of a big viburnum bush so it can't be seen.
So we're 15 weeks into our driveways being a mess of gravel and mud. And we have been patient about this, hoping that Milestone will give us what we had before. And yet most of these driveways are garbage.. Ok, but we are still without a driveway, without reasonable access to the street (while paying all those taxes) and still dealing with the sloth of Milestone. Congratulations, Mr Hamilton (Bank Lobbyist), you have created a new republican in Bloomington. You suck.
