Water Quality

Water coming out of the tap sometimes "brownish." On and off during the last couple of months. When it happens we don't drink it, but it has ruined a white sweater in the washing machine. What should we do?

Our water has been yellow on several occasions and is now coming out of the faucet orange. We are unable to use this water for bathing, drinking, cooking, or laundry and we would like the issue to be addressed as soon as possible. We need to have clean, usable water in our home.

Yard not cut for several weeks. Notice on the door has not been read--no one home for many weeks. What can the city do next? It is getting pretty bad, especially in the back yard.

I live at 105 E. Sunny Slopes,
at the intersection with Brookside.
In the area that would have been
the extension of Brookside, adjacent to my property,
is an area that is an overgrown, branch-strewn,
leaf-covered eyesore. I think it is the city's responsibility,
which would mean the city has a sad record
for maintaining that area, but if it is the responsibility
of a private owner,
please let me know who it is
so that I don't have to
complain to this e-mail site every month or two!!!
Drainage or Runoff

Hi,
The stormwater drains in this neighborhood are no longer able to process light rain. Since the Echo Park subdivision was built, we have noticed an increase in the amount of water collecting near the drains. Historically, the drains have not processed the stormwater quickly enough so the water pools in the street causing traffic and parking disruption. We would like to find a solution to this stormwater and runoff issue. Thanks, Gavin Kelly

Once again, I need to report excessive grass growth on the lot just west of my lot (105 E Sunny Slopes Dr, Bloomington). It is an area that doesn't appear to belong to anyone--it is the extension of what might have been planned for a street.
