Newly installed lights on Hawthorne. The lights are so bright I could mow my lawn at midnight and that is with the trees in full leaf. I used to enjoy looking at the stars, but no more. I don't remember seeing any additional lights in the plan for the bike access between weatherstone and hawthorne. There are already lights at either end of the street marking the intersections so perhaps that aren't necessary. Could they be dimmed or adapted so the light is cast downward?

At dusk, on Tuesday June 17, a new floodlight was turned on near the corner of Woodlawn and Maxwell, at the Bryan Park tennis courts. This flood light points directly at the back of 916 E Maxwell and my home 912 E Maxwell. This light is comically bright and blindly. I support all efforts to maximize the safety of my community members using the tennis courts, the walking path and the parking lot on Woodlawn, but this floodlight is too bright for our neighborhood and pointed in the wrong direction. This light was on past midnight. I am asking that this light is pointed in another direction (towards the parking lot perhaps?) I have included two photos from the standpoint of my back door to my yard, where I can see nothing but the blinding light, and a photo of the back of the house, showing how bright it shines on the south facing side of the house. My neighbors at 916 have their entire south facing side of their house lit up by the blinding light.

I would like to know whether the alley behind my house and 1000-1002 E. Atwater legally continues through and across Hawthorne, as the alley does continue between Hunter and Atwater past Hawthorne. I would also like to know the exact location of the utilities in the alley as specified in 12.12.080.

Frat operating illegally by leaving its flags up after NOV from City stating they are to cease acting as a frat BY October 10, 2017. This photo is from Oct. 11, 2017. Asking for fines to be activated immediately to cause the frat top cease acting as such.

Rooming house acting illegally as a fraternity was told to cease acting as fraternity BY Oct. 10, 2017. This photo show their flags still flying on Thursday OCt. 12, 2017. Request activate fines immediately so frat will cease acting illegally. Signage is specified in letter as being forbidden.

Fess Avenue between 1st and Maxwell is very dark. No streetlights. I am requesting a light be put in between 821 and 823 S. Fess. It's almost pitch black.
