Pedestrian push button on Henderson/Indiana and Atwater ave on South West corner doesn't work.
At this curve someone from the right lane started entering into the left lane where my vehicle was traveling. We had to brake and apply the horn. It may be in part because there is no painted lines here. Time was at about 11am on Saturday April 5. Weather is rainy.
Streetlight out
New hydrant has deep erosion ditch that is hazardous
Not the best trash service this morning. I put nothing at the curb last night and this morning the alley is blocked by uncollected trash. The garbage container at far right belongs at 717 S Park and has been at the curb for more than a week now. The others belong across the street at 716 and are regularly retrieved.
Two days after trash pickup bins are still on the sidewalk (one has been on the sidewalk over a week)
This bin has been on the curb for more than three weeks now
Trash container still on curb Friday after Monday pickup
The resident at this location refuses to comply with lease terms regarding cleaning up their apartment. The conditions are going to contribute to unwanted pests and potentially other hazards. I have sent them notice, emailed and texted. The owner of Pavilion told me that the Hand dept will come out and either help put the resident in touch with resources or will have it cleaned and fine the resident. I just need to know if this is true and if I can get assistance getting them back in compliance with their lease terms instead of eviction. On E. Sheridan Drive, between Manor and Hawthorne, there are pine trees on the south side of the street by the creek. The furthest east tree is leaning over heavily towards the street and biking and walking path. There are parking spots under the tree and some power lines not far away that the tree might be able to hit when it falls. The tree has a heavy sideways tilt to it. The ground around the base of the tree is raised up. The creek bed behind the tree is eroding out. It seems like a matter of time before the tree falls over, uprooted on its own. Let this be the writing I will share with anyone who is injured by the pine tree falling that shows the City is on notice as to the inherent danger of a tree on City property that is in a state of ground heaving, appears ready to be uprooted, and could cause property damage, personal injury, or death due to the City's negligence in failing to remove the tree upon notice of the danger. Good luck. Please evaluate the tree and strongly consider preemtively removing it before it does any harm.
