New hydrant has deep erosion ditch that is hazardous
There is a big tree that has started falling towards Swain Ave. It is located just north of my property in an old city alleyway. Right now, the tree is held up by two communication lines. I called Duke and they said it was not their lines. I’d hate for it to fall onto someone’s car or worse on Swain Ave.
I had previously submitted Ureport ticket 193581 but have not heard back. I’m hoping this ticket works. There’s a large tree that is located in an old city alleyway just north of my house. It has started falling and rests against two communication lines holding it up. There’s a car parked under that tree this morning. So I’m concerned the tree may fall on it. Hope you can help soon with the tree so that no property is damaged or maybe even people get hurt.
I’m sure you love getting these. I’ve had a small trench on the side of the road on the University Road side of my house. It’s been there for a while. Recently, a water line broke or something similar happened requiring the city to move a fire hydrant to the city easement in that part near my yard. The trench has gotten bigger, and with the new construction, it has exposed dirt that will further wash out. I think you’ll want to add a lot of gravel to cover that trench and the construction spot for the hydrant. A new storm drain may be a long term solution. Anyway, if you can add a lot of gravel or similar (grass?), I won’t even complain about the damage to my lawn or even the lawn damage from Hoosier Fiber from last year.
