Trash never picked up monday
There are many potholes on S Washington St once you pass the light of E 3rd st going S. Please fix them.
I and several neighbors have an ongoing problem with a man on our street. He has two large vehicles parked on the street, another vehicle in his driveway and a large truck that has never been moved. Yesterday, he moved this Ford-350 close to my driveway and I cannot get out safely on the street as the truck blocks by view. This truck also blocks my sidewalk so visitors cannot come to my door for a visit. These problems with him have been going on for years and the Ford-350 has not been moved in more than a year. The Excursion is also a truck and it also blocks safety. Both of these vehicles do not have current plates and the man keeps telling the parking officers that he has then in the house and will put them on the vehicles. He has not done so. Finally, several people on our street are anger and resentful because the city has yet to force him to make needed changes so that all of us can be safe. Please help us have a better life on Eastside Drive. Thank you. The Rev. Linda C. Johnson
Multiple potholes between 2nd and Hillside. Some dangerously deep, causing school traffic veer into oncoming lane.
An enormous pothole has developed after the last snowfall at the NW corner of Maxwell and High. This presents a safety risk, since cars need to swerve into incoming traffic to avoid it.
A few deep potholes on S Mitchell
The yellow school zone blinking light is not working. If heading south on High st it's right in front of 706 High St.
Dead skunk on road.
I would like to request a traffic speed study, or at least greater speed limit enforcement, for cars traveling on East Maxwell Lane between Rose Ave and Highland Ave. The posted speed limit is 25 mph, but it's a half-mile straight shot from High Street to Highland Ave, and cars regularly travel well above the speed limit past Maxwell Terrace Apartments and several homes with kids playing outside. Given that Maxwell Lane is a signed bike route that also has a blind hill, I hope something can be done to slow speeders and reduce the possibility of accidents in this area.
I live in the apartment building on the corner of 2nd and High street. The entrance to its parking lot is from High street, very close to the corner. Any time there's a car stopped at the light the entrance is blocked, and the light is delayed for those cars, so unless you are coming in from the south, you have to wait for those cars to go, blocking traffic behind you, or go around the block. Could it be possible to paint the sign in front of the parking lot entrance that cars should not stop there for the light, but a little further from the entrance, and should not block the entrance to the lot? Thank you for consideration!
