Wall listing, falling down - unsafe. Graffiti covering wall.
the house at 702 s washington seems to be out of control. It appears that Shalom clients seem to have an open door policy in that the back door is constantly open with what appears to be a steady flow of "non residents".
There is an unsafe structure at 1305 S. Park Ave. A family is living in a truck with a makeshift camper built onto the back. There appears to be power ran from the house to the camper. Children are also living outside the residence as well. I understand wanting to help the homeless however, this does not appear to be a safe environment for this family if a fire were to break out from cooking food or an electrical fire.
From Reddit Bloomington: Fiber cables damaging sewer lines We live right next to Bryan Park. About a week ago our toilet backed up, and after multiple visits from our (very honest and reasonable) plumber, we discovered that the city's fiber optic internet contractor had carelessly run an optic cable directly through our sewer line. This caused a ton of debris to get into our drain pipe and completely clog the pipe, necessitating a $10k repair. I called the city and apparently, this is happening to people all over town. (The person in the utilities office said I was the third person to call today with this exact problem, and our plumber said that this contractor got thrown out of Carmel for damaging so many sewer lines).
Fiber contractor hit house sewer line—sewer is now backed up.
There is a large construction caution sign that was left standing next to the sidewalk by the fiber optic installation crew. It has been here now for over 2 weeks without any obvious work still going on.
A person trimming trees at this location pulled down wires connected to utility pole 1408H - the disconnected wires are in the tops of the tree on the north side of where Wilson dead ends into a cut through and the other end is lying in the alley getting caught on cars on the south side of Wilson going towards the referenced utility pole - the person in question is remodeling a home on Henderson that back up to the alley
We had our landlord come and check out the house and they didnt find any leaks. We’ve been gone all month so there’s no way we could’ve used that much water. What can we do to ensure that we don’t have to pay a huge bill for water we couldn’t have used? Thanks
My water bill is charging us for over 33k gallons of water used last month which did not happen. We had maintenance check for leaks and they saw nothing so we believe there is an issue with the meter
